Postdoctoral Position in Bacterial Pathogenesis

A NIH-funded postdoctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Indranil Biswas, Dept. Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, and Immunology, University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City. Research will use cutting-edge techniques to study molecular mechanisms of streptococcal pathogenesis in response to environmental cues. A doctoral degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology (or related field) with strong background in protein chemistry, molecular biology, and bacterial genetics is required. Applicants must have a strong work ethic as well as good communication and organizational skills.
