A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr Sergiu Pasca at Stanford University in California, USA. The research focus of the group is to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders. The lab employs a multidisciplinary approach involving neural cells differentiated from patient-derived induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells– including a novel human 3D culture system developed in the lab (Nature Methods, 2015; 10.1038/nmeth.3415), molecular and developmental neurobiology, genetics and rodent disease models.

The applicant must be highly motivated and must have a proven record of high quality publications. Expertise in single cell genomics, transcriptional analyses and bioinformatics is required.
