Postdoctoral Scientist in Regulation of Lipid Metabolism : Odense M, Denmark
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Associate Professor Christer Ejsing, situated at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark. Our laboratory studies the molecular underpinnings of functional regulation of global lipid metabolism using state-of-the-art lipidomics and (phospho)proteomics techniques (see Casanovas et al. Chem. Biol. 2015).
We are seeking to recruit an outstanding, highly motivated scientist to work on phosphorylation-dependent regulation of lipid metabolism. The applicant should hold a PhD in biochemistry or related areas with at least one first-author publication in a peer-reviewed international journal. The applicant must have a track record in functional studies of lipid metabolism or lipid cell biology. Experience with molecular biology, genetics and biochemical methods relevant for functional studies in yeast is advantageous. In addition, experience in analyzing high content data is beneficial.
