successful applicant will contribute to internationally competitive research in the field of computationalRNA biology with a particular focus on mRNA localisation and translational regulation. The project is part of the DFG-funded research programme FOR2333 “Macromolecular complexes in mRNA translocation”. Our group develops and applies computational approaches to deduce transcript characteristics, RBP sequence preferences and functional interrelationships from a range of genome-wide experiments, such as iCLIP andRNA-seq. The postdoc will work in close collaboration with experimental scientists and will have access to high-quality first-hand datasets to pursue the research question.
