Post-doctoral Position Stem Cell Biology : Odense C, Denmark
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral position to work on a project with the title: “Studying the physiological role and molecular mechanisms of novel stromal (skeletal) stem cell secreted factors”. The project’s aim is to investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms of a number of newly identified secreted factors by human skeletal stem cells and their role in skeletal stem cell differentiation in vitro and in vivo. We will also study the physiological relevance of these factors in a number of clinical studies. You will work with a dynamic, international group of researchers in state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and a very friendly work environment. The nice quiet surroundings of Odense are very suitable for research due to minimal transport time, high standard of housing, affordable living expenses and the availability of family support facilities. The positions are available from January 1st, 2016 or earlier if possible.
Qualifications: We are looking for a candidate with a PhD or MD/PhD in Molecular Endocrinology, Molecular biology or a related discipline. Experiences of in vitro cell culture and molecular biology techniques and in vivo animal work (mice, zebra fish) are required.
