POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS IN BIOMINERALIZATION
NYU College of Dentistry

Our laboratory is currently seeking recent Ph.D graduates (Biochemistry, Chemistry) for postdoctoral positions in the area of biomineralization. Specifically, these positions will involve DOE funded research in the areas of protein based biomineralization at the basic science level in marine invertebrates (mollusk, sea urchin). Candidates should have a solid protein biochemistry or chemical biology background and expertise in NMR, SEM, TEM, FIB, AFM, bioinformatics, or other biophysical techniques. These positions would be for a 1 – 2 year appointment with an additional year appointment possible dependent upon funding. Salary is based upon experience and job offer will be contingent on the candidate obtaining appropriate visa for US entry and employment.
