The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Mexico (UNM) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate with an anticipated start date of Fall 2015.

Position: The postdoctoral associate will work with an interdisciplinary team of researchers in ECE and in Computer Science to a) apply stochastic reachability and stochastic optimal control to improve safety in human-in-the loop systems, b) combine stochastic reachability and motion planning algorithms to enable navigation in complex, dynamic, and uncertain environments, and c) develop computational techniques to facilitate the computation of the stochastic reachable set. This is a benefits-eligible, one-year appointment that may be renewed for an additional year contingent upon satisfactory performance and availability of resources
