The Laboratory of Neuroimmunology of the Department of Symptom Research in the Division of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral position to study mechanisms of pain and loss of cognition induced by chemotherapy as a treatment for cancer. The potential to use mitochondrial inhibitors as neuroprotectants and the underlying molecular mechanisms will be studied in experimental animal models of chemotherapy-induced loss of cognition (chemobrain) and of chemotherapy-induced neuropathy (CIPN).
