Job Description

Two- three years research fellowship investigating interactions among hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and genetics is available at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. This is a laboratory-based program focused on molecular and cellular mechanisms to assess the genetic underpinnings of hormonal mechanisms of cardiovascular disease. There are opportunities to interact with clinical scientists focused on these same areas in this translational research training program. 

This position is ideally suited for those interested in research careers in cell/molecular biology, animal genetics, system’s biology with a specific focus on Endocrinology, Cardiology and/or Nephrology. Candidates should have a PhD or M.D/PhD. and be a US citizen or permanent resident. This training program has been supported by an NIH Training Grant since 1974.
