Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available immediately for a highly motivated
individual to work in a research lab affiliated with the Departments of Anesthesiology and Pharmacology and Center for Lung and Vascular Biology to investigate molecular mechanisms of endothelial permeability, vascular inflammation, and pulmonary injury using transgenic mice/rats and in vitro models. The successful applicant will spearhead NIH-funded research project(s) and develop the ability to work independently. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in molecular cell biology or relevant field of study. Prior experience in the field of inflammation and lung injury is NOT required. However, applicants should have a strong publication record. Appointments and salary are commensurate with research experience, accomplishments and based on NIH guidelines.
