We seek a person with a newly obtained Ph.D. degree who has a strong background in biochemistry and molecular biology and is interested in studies of enzymology of novel protein arginine demethylases and their deficiency in cancers. The postdoctoral fellow will perform research in a well established and NIH funded laboratory with an energized and dynamic atmosphere. The fellow is expected to be able to purify enzymes and set up the enzyme activity assays and also know how to handle the cell cultures and perform cell biological assays. Experience in mouse genetics and cancer research will be a plus.
