Job Description
A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Department of Radiology / Department of Cancer Immunotherapeutics and Tumor Immunology. The postdoctoral fellow will assess the therapeutic utilities of novel antibodies against various cancer cell lines, investigate the antibodies’ downstream effects, and determine their potentials as imaging markers. Laboratory work includes antibody engineering & purification, and conducting of numerous assays to characterize phenotypic and genotypic changes to cancer cell lines upon antibody treatments. Furthermore, the Fellow must have experience generating monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies (rabbit, Kohler and Milstein hybridoma or phage display techniques.) It is preferred that he/she has experience with animal models, and tissue harvesting/preparation for further analyses.
Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:
Hold a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, molecular or cell biology with an emphasis in immunotherapeutics, tumor immunology, or antibody engineering.
