An NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately to investigate the translational control of colorectal cancer progression and metastasis which could lead to targeted therapies. Qualified candidates should have a PhD degree with strong background in one or more of the following areas: molecular/cellular biology, cancer biology, biochemistry and genetics. Experiences including but not limited with molecular cloning, site directed mutagenesis, protein purification and interactions, protein and gene expression analysis, gene-silencing and overexpression, cell culture and imaging, and mouse models are desirable. The postdoctoral fellow is expected to be independent and self-motivated and have critical thinking abilities and good data analysis and organizational skills.
