汕头大学医学院是国际著名的企业家和公益慈善家李嘉诚先生捐巨资兴办的汕头大学重要组成部分，1996年进入"211工程"建设行列，1998年获博士学位授权点，2001年设立基础医学博士后流动站，2002年增设七年制临床医学专业，病理学与病理生理学被批准为国家重点学科，2003年获广东省名牌专业， 2006年通过教育部本科教学工作水平优秀评估和"十五"、"211工程"整体验收。近年来，在李嘉诚基金会的大力支持下，汕头大学医学院凝聚了一批海内外优秀学者，进入了一个崭新的发展阶段，在办学条件、科教水平和知名度等方面有了快速的发展与提高。
汕头大学医学院设有基础医学、临床医学、药学3个博士后科研流动站，现向社会公开招聘博士后研究人员。

一、博士后研究人员申请条件及待遇
凡获得国内外博士学位者或应届博士毕业生均可申请。我校给予优厚待遇，在站2年间，博士后每年薪酬待遇可达18万元到20万元。其中，进站人员将获得学校年薪14万元，业绩突出者，年薪可提高到16万元。通过中期和出站考核的博士后，可申请广东省“扬帆计划”粤东西北地区博士后扶持项目，该项目给予博士后每人每年4万元的生活补贴（资助期不超过2年）。
此外，每位博士后还可获得李嘉诚人才基金资助科研启动费4万元。
