Postdoctoral position is available in the Schaffer lab at Joslin Diabetes Center and Harvard Medical School (https://www.schafferlab.org) to study how excess nutrients regulate mRNA-specific translation during the pathogenesis of diabetes. This is an outstanding career development opportunity to work with a leader in the field with an exceptional record of mentoring.

Qualifications: Successful candidate will have a doctoral degree (PhD, MD/PhD, or MD), track record of productivity with peer-reviewed publications, strong communication skills, and less than 5 years of prior postdoctoral experience. Expertise in molecular cell biology is required.
