Postdoc Position: Regulation of Hepatic Chromatin Organization at Single Cell Resolution
A postdoctoral position is available in the Grøntved group at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark. The group investigates molecular mechanisms controlling hepatic transcriptional networks in response to hormonal deregulation, insulin resistance and diet-induced obesity.
We seek a postdoctoral candidate with strong interest in understanding molecular mechanisms regulating chromatin organization in response to nutritional stress in the liver. The work will include the use of different mouse models combined with genomics-based analysis such as RNAseq and ATACseq (bulk as well as single cell analysis).
Qualifications
The position is available to candidates with a PhD degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, biomedicine or equivalent. Prior experience with primary cell cultures, RNA expression analysis, ChIP, CRISPR and adeno/lentiviral production as we ll as animal work is preferred. Candidates with experience in genome-wide technologies such as RNA-seq and ATAC-seq are encouraged to apply.
Deadline15 January 2022.
