Job Summary
A postdoctoral research fellowship is available to study T cell metabolism and immunity in the laboratory of Dr. Cheong-Hee Chang, Department of Microbiolgy and Immunology.
Responsibilities
The applicant is expected to be well versed in immunological techniques including both in vitro and in vivo models. The candidate will carry out a project of his/her own and collaborates with other members in the lab. Skills including flow cytometry, organ harvest and analysis, primary cell isolation and culture are expected. Molecular biology techniques such as PCR, RNA manipulation, Western Blotting, and ELISA are also required.
Required Qualifications
Successful candidates must hold a PhD in immunology, molecular basis of disease or equivalent and be a first author on at least 1 publication. Applicants with an MD and the above skill sets would also be considered. Applicants must be within 1-2 years from their terminal degree. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
Background Screening
