We invite applications from talented researchers for a postdoctoral fellow positions. Research in the laboratory focuses on understanding the role of molecular chaperones in cancer biology. Two research aspects are being developed in the lab: 1- drug discovery program focusing on the identification and characterization of novel Hsp90 machine inhibitors. 2- Dissecting the role of Hsp90 and its co-chaperones in breast cancer using various xenograft and spontaneous cancer mouse models. The two projects are federally funded by NIH and DOD.
Ph.D. degree from an accredited university and excellent experience in cancer biology, molecular biology and mammalian cell/tissue culture methods are required; Expertise in tumor immunology, immunotherapy and cancer mouse models is desirable. Motivated individuals with creative problem solving capabilities and ability to work independently, as well as in a cooperative manner, to complete research projects are encouraged to apply. Salary to be commensurate with qualifications and experience of candidate.
