Postdoc position (in situ liquid and gas phase TEM)
Our interdisciplinary research group at the National University of Singapore is recruiting multiple postdoctoral scientists with experience in Electron Microscopy, nanomaterials, and/or microfabrication. Selected candidates will lead several research projects to explore nanoscale physical and chemical processes relevant to novel energy and semiconductor materials using in situ transmission electron microscopy. The project will be housed in the Department of Physics and the Centre for Advanced 2D Materials at the National University of Singapore.
The successful applicant must have completed a Ph.D. in physics (preferred), materials sciences, or related disciplines, with a proven ability for outstanding research reflected in his/her publication record. Considerable skill in microfabrication and/or electron microscopy is required. Experience in a subset of the following areas is desirable: materials synthesis, inorganic chemistry, facility for programming in Python, Labview, MATLAB, Image processing.
