　　We currently have a postdoctoral position available in the laboratory of Dr. James Bardwell at the University of Michigan.  The Bardwell lab utilizes directed evolution; protein design; and a variety of cutting-edge structural, biological, and genetic approaches to address human disease and the discovery and characterization of chaperones and their role in disease.  The lab is innovative, friendly, and well-funded.  More information can be found: https://sites.lsa.umich.edu/bardwell-lab/

　　Successful candidates will have been trained in directed evolution or structural biology, or biochemistry or bacterial or yeast genetics.  Candidates with a strong publication record are preferred. Completion of a PhD in a related field is required by start date.
