The Martinez-Garay Lab is seeking a highly motivated and innovative

　　Postdoctoral Research Associate

　　to join us at the School of Biosciences, Cardiff University. The post holder will investigate how cell-cell interactions influence the cellular and molecular mechanisms regulating neural progenitor behaviour during development of the cerebral cortex. The project, recently funded by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) involves histology, in utero electroporation, live imaging, murine genetics and single cell RNA sequencing.

　　The successful applicant will have a PhD in Neuroscience, Developmental Biology or related area and will also be expected to actively contribute to the intellectual environment of the lab and to provide guidance to less experienced lab members, including PhD and project students.

　　This is a full-time position, available for 3 years, from 1 April 2019 fixed term until 31 March 2022.
