A Postdoctoral Research Scientist position is immediately available in Dr. Huiming Zhang’s research group at the Shanghai Center for Plant Stress Biology (PSC) (http://www.psc.ac.cn/zjj.asp?id=72). The successful candidate will investigate molecular mechanisms underlying plant-microbe interactions.

The following basic qualifications are expected:

Ø A PhD degree in Plant Biology or Microbiology

Ø Demonstrated skills of molecular biology techniques or bioinformatics 

Ø Demonstrated research experience with plant-microbe interactions 

Ø A desire to achieve excellence in scientific research

Knowledge in Chinese/Mandarin is not required because PSC is an international research institute. Research at PSC is synergized by a battery of state-of-the-art core facilities including genomic, metabolomic, proteomic, microscopic and transformation facilities.
