Position Summary
 
The Marketing Associate will work with University Communications’ Content and Marketing team to develop and create online and print content, articles, brochures, videos, and other materials to feature and promote the University’s research and graduate school activities. S/he will work closely with colleagues from NYU Shanghai’s various research institutes and graduate programs to develop marketing campaigns and identify opportunities to promote the university’s researchers, advanced study,  and research achievements.
 
The main responsibilities include:
 
●  Maintain and track website content for NYU Shanghai research institutes and graduate school programs;
●  Uncover and write news articles, press releases, and social media posts, related to the achievements of Research Institutes and Graduate Schools;
●  Identify marketing opportunities for graduate school programs and research institutes;
●  Conduct research/market analysis of peer research/grad programs;
●  Develop innovative marketing strategies to assist admissions, recruitment, and increasing in name recognition;
●  Maintain strong lines of communication between University Communications, graduate programs, and research institutes.
 
Qualifications
 
Required Education
●  Bachelor’s Degree.
 
Required Experience
●  At least two years of related experience, preferably more.
 
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
●  Excellent English speaker and writer;
●  Fluent in Mandarin Chinese;
●  Strong writing, translating, interviewing, and research skills;
●  Ability to translate scientific and academic findings into nonacademic language, social media posts, and graphic presentations.
