Seeking individuals with a Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, computational biology, or related field with a strong background in using cell biology, molecular biology, physiology, and in vivo models of disease to understand cardiovascular or cardiopulmonary pathobiology for a role in the new Maron Cardiopulmonary Research Laboratory at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. A prior background in thrombosis biology or lung circulatory diseases is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team exploring mechanisms of cardiovascular disease with an emphasis on pulmonary hypertension. Experience with transcriptomic/genomic based-research, general wet lab skills, and/or small animal work is strongly preferred. We are seeking an initial commitment of two years.
