中国建筑技术集团有限公司是2003年8月15日经国家工商行政管理局审核批准，由中国建筑技术开发总公司改制成立。

 集团公司由国务院国有资产监督管理委员会所属中国建筑科学研究院投资控股。经董事会选举,中国建筑科学研究院副院长、原中国建筑技术开发总公司法人代表总经理黄强为公司董事长兼总裁。

 改制后的中国建筑技术集团有限公司，按照现代企业制度运行，建立了完整规范的法人治理结构体系，确保规范、有效地利用资本市场，达到国有资产的保值增值。

改制后的中国建筑技术集团有限公司具有房屋建筑工程施工总承包壹级、地基与基础工程专业承包壹级、建筑装饰装修工程专业承包壹级、钢结构工程专业承包壹级、机电设备安装工程专业承包壹级、建筑智能化工程专业承包壹级资质；同时具有工程勘察甲级、工程设计甲级、智能建筑设计甲级、市政公用行业设计乙级资质；集团公司同时具有工程监理企业甲级资质、中华人民共和国进出口企业资格和对外经济合作业务权资质。集团公司全资子公司北京中技天建建筑工程有限公司还具有城市及道路照明工程专业承包壹级、建筑幕墙工程专业承包贰级、建筑防水工程专业承包贰级、预应力工程专业承包贰级资质和特种专业工程专业承包资质（限结构补强）。集团公司也是北京市科学技术委员会授予的高新技术企业。

集团公司的经营范围是：建筑与土木工程项目的设计、采购、施工全过程的总承包；消防工程、环境工程、装饰、装修工程的设计、施工；工程勘察；建设工程监理；建筑与土木工程的新产品、新技术和新机械设备的开发、生产与销售；城市园林绿化规划设计；开展对外经济合作业务资格……进出口业务、房屋建筑的开发与建设。

China Building Technique Group Co., Ltd. (CBTGC) was examined and approved by State Administration of Industry and Commerce on August 15, 2003, and was founded through China Building Technique Development Corporation (CBTDC) changing the economic system.

CBTGC was invested and held by China Academy of Building Research (CABR), which belongs to State Council Administrative Commission of State-Owned Assets. After the Board election, the Vice-Principal of CABR, Legal person and the original General Manager of CBTDC, Mr. Huang Qiang becomes the Chairman of the Board and the President.

After changing the system, CBTGC is operated according to the modern enterprise system, establishes a complete and regular legal person administered structure system to make use of the capital market normally and effectively, and achieves the value maintained and appreciation of state assets.

China Building Technique Group Co., Ltd. possesses the national qualification of contracting on 1st Class construction, 1st Class ground base and foundation engineering, 1st Class finishing and decoration, 1st Class steel structure, 1st Class mechanical and electrical equipment installation, 2nd Class of intelligent building engineering; as well as Class A reconnaissance, Class A design, Class A intelligent building design, Class B municipal works design; Class A construction supervision, Certificate of Approval for Enterprises with Foreign Trade Rights in China and foreign economics cooperation right. The subsidiary company, CBTGC Tian Jian Building Engineering Co., Ltd. possesses 1st Class qualification of contracting on lighting engineering and 2nd Class qualification of contracting on glass curtain wall, waterproofing work, pre-stressed engineering and special engineering contracting qualification (limited to structure reinforcing). The Corporation was also awarded a certificate of high and new technological enterprise by Science and Technology Commission of Beijing.

Through the two approaches in the unification of scientific research, design, and construction, as well as that of technology, industry and trade, CBTGC has put scientific research achievements into productivity, and continuously developed international and domestic building market to serve the society.

The sole purpose of the Corporation is "Observing discipline and obeying the law; constructing green buildings; taking quality as the principal; developing technology in advance; using environmental protection construction; protecting culture and history; putting safety in the first place; preventing first; improving continuously; and seeking outstanding achievements." Therefore, the Corporation will always abide by the contract and guarantee construction period and quality.

According to self-characters, CBTGC edited operation document of organic unification of three management systems for better strengthening management of design and construction after CBTGC get the authentication in GB/T19001-2000, GB/T24001-1996 and GB/T28001-2001. CBTGC was awarded the enterprise of valuing contract and observing reputation by Beijing Administration of Industry and Commerce, as well as AAA Credit Grade enterprise by Beijing Yinjian Credit Information Service.

The business field of CBTGC includes: general contracting of design, purchase, and construction for architecture and civil engineering; design and construction of fire protection engineering, environmental engineering, finishing and decoration engineering; reconnaissance; construction supervision; development, production and management of new products, new technique and new machineries and equipments for architecture and civil engineering; planning design of urban landscape; cooperation of foreign economics; import and export business; housing development and construction and etc.
